Bangin' Baby Bump:Kim K

Baby bumps are clearly the new black, taking complete control this season. I love that the baby bump is no longer hidden- but now, accentuated by figure hugging silhouettes! I can appreciate the celebration of such A gift through fashion, itself. Here is a look at one of my favorite celebrity baby bumps this year: Kim K. Enjoy :-)!

Glam Guide 101: Dainty Dating on a Dime

Spring is here and there is no better season for mingling with hot guy prospects. When dating, it can sometimes get a little hard to find the perfect outfit for the occasion. Of course you want to look sexy but not sleazy and gorgeous but not forced. All the while, you're hoping not to spend a fortune doing so, right?

Well here are a few tips that will have you date ready in no time, without breaking the bank...

First Date:
Let's face it- first dates are nerve wrecking enough. You aren't even sure if you're going to like this guy, let alone if it's going to be worth a pair of expensive new shoes. So, what do you do? If you must buy something new, keep your budget at under $50 and buy ONLY those items that will compliment your current wardrobe. More than likely, the perfect ensamble is already tucked away in your closet anyhow.

A good first date will contain three elements, which means you won't be spending all of your time in one place. So while you want to be dainty, you'll need to be comfortable as well. A skinny jean and romantic top is always a safe bet. Paired with a blazer, this look is an effortless first date look. But if you want to really make a statement, I would recommend a pair of printed pants instead. The look is totally on trend and can be paired with a sexy sheer top or a simple cropped top for a sexy and fierce finish.

For this look, I recommend a classic pointy toe pump in either black or nude. Normally the pants will bring all the color. Beyonce's yellow shoe definitely works with her look, however.

Date w/ the Mate-
Sometimes even going on a date with your boo thang can be a challenging wardrobe call. I stick to a few basic rules: stay sexy and make him want you. By now, your boo has probably already saw all the goods you have to offer. But there is no reason not to give a sneak peak. It's spring, s be flirty and keep it fun.

If the weather is nice, go short! A cute pair of shorts is an unexpected date night look and will have the boo eyeing you all night. Either go with the hot-right-now monochromatic hues OR color block with a cute cropped top and a pair of scrappy sandals in a contrasting tone.

Short suits are totally in right now! So get all matchy-matchy from the thigh up and go for a surprise pop of color in your hoe choice. This is sexy, chic and total date night perfection.

My Thoughts: Beyonce's Bow Down Track (Requested)

I recently shared a little tea with you regarding Keyshia Cole's latest twitter rant where she lashed out against Beyonce's Bow Down track. (I also shared the video via the TyPod which has been acting up lately. No worries- tech support is on it!) Now while I did mention that I felt Keyshia was slightly out of line- I never commented on my opinion of the video. For me, the issue wasn't necessarily with WHAT Keyshia was saying- she had some very valid points. But of course, her delivery was off- as usual.

So per request, and somewhat against what I usually would stand for, I can officially declare that I too dislike the track! That's right! I hate it y'all! So hear me out...

First off, Keyshia couldn't have been more accurate in her description of the contradictory verbiage. I mean, we all know Beyonce as this humble, meek character who is all about woman empowerment. Right? Wrong, I guess. Here she is now, boasting and bragging and worse telling bitches to bow down. I mean, don't get me wrong- confidence is key. But I don't know too many "bitches" willing to bow down to Beyonce or anyone else for that matter. For me, the lyrics were weak, the message seemed forced and it just didn't work.

Now let's say, perhaps, that this was not released as a single. But instead was going to be the intro to her much anticipated album. Would I feel differently? Absolutely! As an intro this would work on so many more levels. As a single, try again. Let's say if Rihanna was singing this hot mess, instead of queen Bey. Would I feel differently? Absolutely! I would believe it more first of all. And her edge would make the song work. This is a classic example of a bad song given to a good singer. Period.

I know that the Beyhive is going to swarm with rebuttals- but frankly this is my opinion and you're welcome to yours. I'm more than willing to give Beyonce another shot. Let's just pretend this never happened, ok? Lol

Morning Tea: Keyshia Says Bow Where??

As if we all haven't heard enough from Keyshia Cole lately, she surfaced again to throw shade via twitter. Just when the Super Bowl shade had gotten dusty and much forgotten, Cole took to twitter to make it known that she wasn't bowing down to anyone- not even Queen Bey.

Shorty after the released Bow Down track, Keyshia went vocal in her tweets basically putting Beyonce for being fake. I, for one, was thinking 'Keyshia who?' while others actually fed in to the nonsense. Take a look at what she had to say here:

While I could totally call this rant blasphemous and out of line- I would opt for a more fitting term: IRRELEVANT. Carry on...

Glam Guide 101: Style Dupe Emily B's Instagram Dress

I'm sure I'm not the only one who practically drools over Glam Girl Emily B's fashion. Some days I run to the gram just to see what he's wearing. Well this one will have all of my Glam Girls excited.

Earlier this week Em was spotted on the gram wearing a super cute baroque print Bodycon dress. Apparently a style dupe for the top Evelyn Lozada wore in her green screen confessionals for the upcoming season of BBW. So I knew that the dress was by a brand called Cosette which is carried at Nordstrom. But what I didn't know is that the dress is now marked 50% off and is listed at only $39.98. So of course I had to cop one of my own. And if you're feeling the look-use the link below to cop yours too. This dress is Gorg and right on trend, seeing as though prints are completely in right now. It would look great paired with a pair of gladiator or t-strap booties. A must have for spring. Happy duping girlies, :-)!

Morning Tea: RHOA Reunion Tapes Without Walter

Apparently Walter Jackson is capable of catching feelings- just not for Kenya Moore. The Atlanta bachelor was all up in his feelings on twitter, after catching wind of the shady reality tv business going on behind his back. Perhaps Mr. Jackson was under the impression that his fifteen minutes of fame included an invitation to the reunion taping. However Bravo felt otherwise.

This season, we all watched Walter pretend to be Kenya Moore's, well off love interest. We also watched as that ship crashed and burned right before our eyes. When Kenya started pushing the marriage issue (allegedly in hopes of getting a spin off show focusing on the wedding) Walter went A-wall and Kenya had yet to pick her face up off the floor. So that's when the gay rumors surfaced- but I'm sure we all remember that all too well. America didn't buy it and Walter spoke up, announcing that he was indeed ACTING like Kenya's boo thang just to land her a spot on the show.

So here we are, several months after taping has wrapped up and most of the season has aired. And this dysfunctional couple has snuck their way right up into another press op. Walter takes to twitter to rant about how Bravo is scared to invite him to the reunion show because he'll expose the truth. You can check out the tweets below for yourself and let me know what you think. But personally, I think Walter needs to have several seats- and NOT on the reunion stage... Lol

Erica Dixon's New ASSets...

According to a go to blog #straightfromtheA Erica Dixon is toting more than an engagement rings these days. After having (allegedly) finally called it quits with loser- I mean, rapper- Scrappy, Dixon is showing off a new look. One that most might question these days. Now I'm no booty-ologist. But one thing I can spot is a fatty. And while Erica had quite a cute shape on the last season of Love and Hip Hop Atlanta, this body she's rocking these days leaves a lot to be questions. Like where the hell did you buy that booty girl? I mean, you be the judge...

Here is Erica's new booty...

And then there's season 1's booty...

What do you think?

Get To Know Me: Tynisha Share

Since creating the iHeartGlamYo blog I have received tons of emails, Facebook inox messages, etc asking me tons of questions that I've previously neglected to answer. It wasn't because the questions were invasive or inappropriate at all, but moreso because I felt that answering the questions individually would soon become redundant. So I decided to dedicate an entire posts to your questions and telling you glam girls exactly what it is you all want to know.. I encourage you all to share your stories as well. Comment below. Don't be shy. And lastly, enjoy.

How old are you? I am 24 years old, and I'll be turning 25 in July.

What do you do? I am a blogger by night but during the day I am a corporate work woman. I am constantly climbing the corporate ladder and I'm very proud of how far I've come. I am currently n a management position. I also own and operate Platinm Posh: the Planning Boutique

Where are you from? I am originally from Philadelphia but I have adopted Richmond, Va as my second home. I currently reside in Philly.

Where do you shop? I chuckle every time I get this question because I swear I never know how to answer it. I shop EVERYWHERE. And I know people say that a lot. But it's true. I prefer online shopping so most of my bulk purchases are done at Asos, Boohoo, Forever21, and EBay. I am an EBay junkie y'all :-)

Do you have any children? I get this question a lot. And the answer remains the same for now. I don't have children but someday I will make a super fly mama! Lol

What size are you? Right now, I'm fluctuating between an 8 and 10 in US sizing. In shoes I am usually a 6.5.

What type of hair do you wear? I usually purchase virgin Brazilian hair. I just find that it works best with my natural hair texture and it lasts really long.

Who does your hair? I do my own installs.

Can you share a tutorial for installing and styling your hair extensions? I plan to launch the YouTube channel shortly. I'm still working on some of the details but once they're all worked out I will certainly work on some tutorials.

When will you get married? Lol, only God knows that.

What advice would you give a young woman trying to start a business? Go for it! Starting a business is not easy so you need to plan to be dedicated and relentless. You will make several sacrifices but it is all well worth it in the end. Research and plan thoroughly before hand. And stay true to yourself.

If you have any other questions post them below and I will add them for a Part 2 Post. I will no longer use questions from emails or private messages.

Thanks girls,
Xoxo

Who Got That Baby Bun In The Oven..

The Braxton Sisters were on set of GMA this morning looking fabulous as always. And apparently, today love wasn't the only thing in the air... Tamar Braxton, wife of music mogul Vince Herbert, had quite an announcement to make with a bulging baby bump to prove it. It was there that the singer turned reality star announced that the couple would be expecting their first baby. Now we're not sure if these are the Popsicle babies that Tamar had popped into the freezer on a previous season. But what we do know is that she doesn't have much further to go before the baby is born! I must say that I am tremendously happy for Tamar and Vince both and wish them much happiness with their new bundle of joy!

Check out the hilariously funny Braxton's Bun In The Oven song... Get yo life!

Gone With The Wind Fabulous or Just Plain Crazy?

As if we hadn't witnessed enough of RHOA cast member Kenya Moore's chemical imbalance during her desperate encounters with former (so called) boo Walter, the single lady is twirling her way back to crazy land. Moore made it clear, last night on an episode of Andy Cohen's Watch What Happens Live, that she is not off of the crazy bus just yet. The former beauty pageant (gone train wreck) turned heads and possibly a few noses as she debuted her new parody video Gone With The Wind Fabulous. The video focuses on a few of her fellow cast mates and even points the laughing finger at herself a few times.

The joke starts off with Moore feuding with a drag queen impersonating Porsha Stewart in a hilarious recap of the infamous Anguilla episode. It is there that Moore does her fabulous twirl, spinning her opponent right into the pool. As if that wasnt funny enough, Kenya reaches deeper into her bag of shade and (yet again) reenacts Phaedra's church going- booty trotting ways. I, for one, could definitely go without ever seeing that fishnet swimsuits ensemble again. I'm just saying...

It didn't stop there, though. Oh no! You just know miss Fabulous had to pull out the big guns and give us one for the road. Yup. She just had to shade Walter. And as if dressing him in a tiny pair of
Daisy duke shorts and sticking him in a tow truck wasn't shade enough, little miss Fabulous just had to go and pull the little wiener card! #SHADE I'll say one thing- if the wiener joke has any truth or validity whatsoever- the miss Kenya baby you are more desperate than we thought... I digress.

If any of you Glam Girls are even a tiny bit interested in seeing the joke, which I seriously doubt you are- I'll post the link below. As for now I think it's important that Kenya knows that the world is not laughing with you... You can finish that sentence doll. :-)

Glam Girl Talk: Let's Talk Relationships

So I'm sure if you're anything like m yself, we were all tuned in together last night watching Porsha Stewart make a damn fool of herself. Although I agree that The RHOA hubby, Cordell, tends to come across a little controlling, the topic itself sort of sparked a fire inside my belly button. At times, it seems that we as women easily confuse the terms controlling and dominant. It is my belief that a man should be dominant, no matter what the situation is. However, a controlling man is something that no Glam Girl should be standing for.

Something so small as a trip to the strip club can expose the oh so huge rifts in ones relationship. Sometimes, these are rifts that are better kept secrets than shared with friends. You can't expect your friends to understand your relationship, and you can't expect them to bite their tongues either. So who is wrong in such a situation? And are the words that they speak truly words of concern or just blatant nosiness? Last night, in my opinion, the words were coming from a good place. I felt that the girls had valid points, advising Porsha to live a little and think a little less of what her hubby might think of a quick ladies night out at a Gentlemen's club. In all actuality, a secure man would likely have no issues with his woman watching the rump of another. Especially when it's all in fun. But Porsha seemed to think otherwise. Even after blatantly being told- or should I said permitted- to go out and enjoy herself. Still, in her mind, she felt that she needed to conform to the description of a wholesome housewife. Hmmm.

That makes me think one thing- it isn't necessarily Cordell who is controlling her. Perhaps, it is her own stereotypical beliefs that are actually controlling her. So much so that she can't even reach for her own dreams and create her own legacy. Perhaps, little miss Porsha is so wrapped up on trying to look like the perfect little housewife that she can't even manage to share a sexy strawberry biting moment with her girls. Well Porsha I can tell you one thing for sure and two things for certain- I may not know what it takes to be the PERFECT wife or what she looks like. But I'm sure that she has balance- that she lives and acts on her dreams as well as his. I'm sure she has fun- because happiness is sanity. And I'm sure she doesn't dance around half naked in a music video either... Ring a bell miss Stewart? Be you. Everyone else is taken.

Please weigh in, tell me how you feel? Is it ok to be controlled by your man? Is that what a perfect wife is?

Yandy Smith Takes It Off...

We all know how the saying goes: Long Hair Don't Care. And the parody held true earlier this week when Love and Hip Hop Star, Yandy Smith, took it all off for the new My Extensionz ad campaign. Amongst a few other hot weave trotting mamas, Smith bared it all for the sake of true weave perfection. Now of course, in true weave addict fashion, I had to take to the web to do my research on the company to see just what it is Yandy was signing her name on. I had heard of My Extensionz previously and had even considered purchasing during one of my purchasing moments. However, Yandy's name alone prompted me to take a second look.

The site doesn't have too much glitz and glam which I really don't mind, actually. Instead, it is easy to understand and straight to the point. The bundles appear to be thin but the quality (based on the photos) looks to be pretty up to par. But above all, i was very impressed by the pricing. The bundles are affordably priced so that any glam girl can get her hands on some! The photos from the recent shoot werent displayed yet, but of course I'll give you girls a sneak peek.

All in all, I commend Yandy for putting on her model cap and  letting the boobies out! I think she looked amazing, especially having just had a baby a few months ago. If you ask me, Long Hair Should Never Care...

And as for the My Extensionz brand, you'll be hearing a tad more about them on the IHGY blog because I've decided to make a purchase and review the company myself. I'll do an unboxing, initial review and a few follow ups shortly, so stay tuned. For now, be sure to stop by their site and if you decided to make a purchase, use code Yandy for a discount.

Later dolls...
