Morning Tea: Who Cheated Who? Kandi VS Miss Lawrence

Last night Derek J and Miss Lawrence, two Atlanta hairstylists turned reality TV stars, hosted a Real Housewives of Atlanta special spilling all the behind the scenes tea of the shows four past seasons. The shade was high and the readings were present as we all watched, waiting for the juicy inside feeds. What none of us were probably expecting, however, was what followed the show on twitter.

Lawrence, formerly introduced to the show by has-been Sheree, went on to spill the tea on what really took place between him and Kandi. Previously, Miss Lawrence introduced viewers to another side of him as he embarked on a journey towards pursuing a career as an openly gay pop artist. Right on board for the ride, Kandi joined in on the project and agreed to mentor him as an artist and help produce his first single entitled 'Closet Freak'. Interestingly enough, America watched as Lawrence turned it up, strong vocals and some dance moves to show. He rocked us all with the catchy tune and we were all excitedly awaiting the release.

When asked what happened after the release, however, Lawrence revealed that our guess was just as good as his. Apparently, he and Kandi had an agreement to split the earnings from the track but she never served up any earnings to Miss Lawrence. Huh? #ShadeHoney Lawrence simply stated that he hadn't heard anything more about the track NOR had he received a red cent of the said earnings. Well honey, Kandi was not about to take that shade sitting down. The singer turned producer took to twitter with a few choice words of her own:

Welp! I think that's enough shade to go around! Kandi is something else honey! And I think it's safe to say she's had her fair share of royalties being mishandled (previously being on the other end of the same situation with Kim's Tardy for the Party track)! Perhaps, she needs to hire Phaedra to step in on these legalities. Hmm... LOL

Did you watch the special? Are you feeling the super trailer? Let me know what you're thinking...
